Usage Tips and Workarounds
For Mega Millions and Powerball Playing
If there is a drawing where the bonus number is drawn from the original five numbers, you can select it twice — as a bonus number and as a main number — in the "Drawing Maintenance" section only. You must first select it as a main number by left-clicking on it and as a bonus number by right-clicking on it. To print the main numbers and the bonus number on tickets (bet slips) in one pass, you need to set the parameters of the bonus game. We have created a sub-game for the bonus number, which is only used for handling the Bonus (Powerball-type number) for statistics, trends, and printing.
The Powerball or Gold number is actually a game by itself, so we recommend that you handle it separately. The main game is linked to its sub-game from the properties section. Once both games (main game and bonus game) are set correctly to print on play slips, any bonus numbers selected in the main game will be printed to the play slip in one pass. You won't need to print Powerball, Mega Millions, etc., in two runs for each play slip anymore.
For Wild Card Lotto Playing
In this game, the bonus number is a card. Since LottoWhiz 4G's number panels only provide numbers and not letters, select the main numbers in the usual way by clicking on them. For the bonus number, right-click the number panel to choose a temporary dummy number and enter the drawing in the database.
Once entered, go to the displayed window of drawings and double-click on the bonus number. A number panel that includes card numbers will pop up. Select the proper card number and then click the "Insert" button. Make sure you uncheck "Include the bonus number" in the Search Options when searching for a drawing in the database. Printing on tickets (bet slips) will work fine for the 6 selections out of 38 numbers, except for the bonus number. The bonus number will have to be filled in manually.
For Powerball Number and Mega Million Gold Ball Printing
To print the Powerball number, we have included a game called "Powerball Number Printing." We have included the "Mega Million Gold Ball" game to print the Mega Million Gold Ball number. These games are only used for handling the statistics, trends, and printing of the Powerball and Mega Million Gold Ball number.
The Powerball and Mega Million Gold Ball number is actually a game by itself, so we recommend that you handle it separately to get the best possible number. However, once you have defined the printing parameters of those games, any bonus numbers selected in the main game (Powerball or Mega Millions) will also be printed on the play slip along with the main selected numbers. You won't need to print Powerball, Mega Millions, etc., in two runs for each play slip anymore.
